Office of PRNEWS.IO start-up founded by Ukrainian e-Resident to open in Porto Franco

PRNEWS.IO, founded by an e-Resident from Ukraine, is opening an office in Tallinn, which is expected to employ 25 people by the end of the year. PRNEWS.IO is developing an online content marketing platform to meet the growing demand of SMEs for extensive media coverage.

The growth of PRNEWS.IO comes as more and more brands around the world choose to approach the media directly, without hiring expensive PR specialists.

Through the platform, brands get published in the media, and publishers of news outlets get rewarded.

The new PRNEWS.IO office is located in the Porto Franco business district and will house a team focused on clients from the internet industry — the fastest-growing segment of PRNEWS.IO's client base. Positions will include sales, marketing, customer support, and back-office.

"The team that will start working in the new space is expected to grow to 25 people by the end of this year. There are options to expand to other parts of the building if the team continues to grow," said Natalia Storozhuk, e-resident, and PRNEWS business development manager.

Porto Franco is a vibrant business district near Tallinn's Vanasadam port and one of the fastest-growing areas in the city.

“We are delighted to welcome PRNEWS.IO in Tallinn and in Porto Franco,” said Rauno Teder, the CEO of the business district, “In the present time, it is of symbolic value to have a company with Ukrainian roots as a tenant and strengthen the ties of our countries and people. I sincerely hope that our vibrant environment will play a notable role in the success of PRNEWS.IO.”

PRNEWS.IO gathers information from hyperlocal online newspapers and industry publications. The company relies on big data to predict the outcome of a PR campaign.

A total of 65,000 media outlets from 142 countries are connected to the platform and available for guest posting. Last year, the company paid €2.2 million to publishers of news websites. About one-third of this amount was paid to the 35 most influential media outlets.

Porto Franco is a property development project, which will open the Tallinn city center up to the sea, being the commercial and leisure district at the seafront. A total of 190 million euros will be invested in the development of Porto Franco, and the new multifunctional city block will have over 150,000 m2 of premises. The Porto Franco complex consists of three underground floors with an 1170-space parking garage and leased premises for retail purposes, and five above-ground floors are occupied by the shopping center, the office center, and the hotel. The 150,000 m2 of commercial and office premises of Porto Franco will be hosting cafés and restaurants, a hotel, a hypermarket, and a large number of companies.
