VERNA has taken part in the creation of data processing and storage center (DPC) for “Donbass Electronic Communications” (DEC). Within the scope of the project APC server cabinets of NetShelter SX category and backup power supplies APC Smart have been delivered.

The equipment from APC has been chosen due to the customer’s strict requirements as to availability and safety of critically important data and services. Delivery and mounting of the equipment in the DPC has made it possible to provide the entire IT infrastructure of the company with reliable electric power supply and thus guarantee the continuity of the key business processes.

Artem Petrov, DEC CEO, commented the significance of the project for the company’s business: “Exploiting Internet-services under the MATRIX brand, we have launched a number of useful services, convenient and accessible to clients at any time. All this requires a solid base in the form of IT solutions from companies – leaders in their field. MATRIX puts forward a goal to become the best high-speed Internet in its region. Therefore we choose reliable technological solutions and proven suppliers”.

The DEC CTO, Alexander Shulikov has added: “Solutions from APC are complex ones and meet the strict requirements as to load and safety. This makes it possible to make the DPC a reliable base for all services both inside our company and for our clients".

About DEC:
