Yandex Is Building a New Data Center in Ivanteevka
Ivanteevka, September 15, 2008. Yandex started construction in Ivanteevka of its sixth data center. Commencement of its operation is scheduled for late 2008.
Over 7000 servers will be housed in the new 2500-square-meter 4MW data center connected to Yandex’s fiber optic main.
Yandex encourages server support engineers and system administrators to apply for open positions in the new Ivanteevka data center. A full list of Yandex vacancies (in Russian) is available at http://company.yandex.ru/inside/job/.
