Lavrynovych & Partners Law Firm acts as a legal counsel for an international construction company in the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Zurich in a dispute for the reimbursement of losses and damages in the major transport infrastructure construction project.

At the end of May, Ukraine’s legal service market gained a new strong player: a new attorney’s association called ALIAS started its operations in Kyiv; the association specializes in the criminal cases related to business and official activities, civil and criminal litigation, property, employment, and family disputes.

Maksym Lavrynovych, Managing Partner of Lavrynovych & Partners Law Firm, delivered a speech entitled «Work performed by an advocate in preparing acceptance of complaints to the Supreme Court of Ukraine. Common Mistakes» at the First All-Ukrainian Civil Forum of the Ukrainian Advocates' Association held in Kyiv on March 23.

Lavrynovych & Partners Law Firm acted as a Ukrainian law adviser in the process of providing state guarantees for raising an $85,000,000 long-term loan facility to reconstruct and modernize the mines of LisichanskUgol OJSC. The loan agreement was signed by China Development Bank, a state-run Chinese bank, and the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on December 28, 2011.
