Yandex Shows Traffic Jams on User’s Personal Route
Internet, October 28, 2009. Yandex shows current traffic conditions on a specified route. Now, in addition to the picture of traffic in the whole city, anyone who lives in Moscow or Moscow region and drives a car can have their own personal traffic informer right on Yandex’s front page. This informer shows traffic patterns on a user’s individual commute route.
Yandex.Traffic Expands its Reach
Internet, September 24, 2009. Yandex.Traffic has expanded its coverage to include four more cities — Samara, Krasnodar, Kazan in Russia, and Kharkiv in Ukraine. Drivers in these cities can now check traffic conditions before starting out.
Yandex.Traffic for Navigation Applications
Internet, January 19, 2009. Yandex.Traffic is now available for GPS navigation. Users of the navigation programs Autosputnik and Mobile Navigator can now plan their routes based on the information about traffic jams and clear roads.
Saint Petersburg Traffic on Yandex.Maps
Internet, March 18, 2008. Yandex is now providing traffic maps for three capitals: Moscow, Kiev and Saint Petersburg. Starting today, residents of Saint Petersburg can plan their trips around the city using Yandex.Maps, just like residents of Moscow or Kiev.
