VERNA will take part as a sponsor and contributor in the conference on information technologies Cisco Expo-2009, which will take place on October 22-23 in Kiev Exhibition Complex “Akko International”.

VERNA has taken part in the creation of data processing and storage center (DPC) for “Donbass Electronic Communications” (DEC). Within the scope of the project APC server cabinets of NetShelter SX category and backup power supplies APC Smart have been delivered.

VERNA has updated the IT infrastructure of JSC Kharkovoblenergo. The aim of the project is to increase the level of network safety and ensure uninterrupted execution of key business processes, among which the control over load distribution and management of settlements with consumers. A specific feature of the project is the integration of various technologies, services, types of equipment and data used in the enterprise. New Cisco equipment for the network core is mounted, set up and put under load in the mode of hot swapping without interrupting the operation of the enterprise. The introduced solution is covered by a five-year warranty.

VERNA has delivered Cisco IronPort equipment for multilevel protection of CJSC Alpha Bank email system against spam and Internet threats. The software and hardware set based on Cisco IronPort, implemented by the bank IT service, increases the mail system productivity, blocks about 80 per cent of “bad” mail and makes it possible to cut the labor consumption for incoming mail processing and maintenance costs by 75 per cent.

VERNA has put into operation a system of centralized monitoring and management of the branch network of PJSC “First Ukrainian International Bank” (FUIB). This implementation has provided the bank with a set of advantages that are especially actual these days in the financial market. One of the main advantages is the continuity of financial services due to completely manageable business processes in the bank.

VERNA announces the finishing of the work for modernization of the IT infrastructure of Nikolayev affiliate of the First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB). Putting into operation the objects in the city of Nikolayev, VERNA finishes the three-year project of creation of the FUIB base infrastructure in 30 cities of Ukraine. Cable systems for 4800 users are mounted for 85 regional branches of the bank, all affiliates and branches are equipped with office, telecommunication and computer equipment. When fulfilling the project a set of measures was implemented for ensuring the continuity of banking services and lowering operation expenses. Apart from a significant scope, the project has a number of specific features and innovations sought-for under new economic conditions.

OJSC PLUS BANK and VERNA have drawn up the preliminary results of work according to the outsourcing servicing contract. Specific feature of the project is the servicing of the network of the bank branches geographically distributed over remote villages of Ciscarpatian. The main results of the outsourcing are the reduction of expenses for the bank IT system support, lowering of business risks and increased quality of client servicing.
